My clients and I have created lives of delicious adventures.
Being trapped in the drama got me to rock bottom. I ended up burned-out and broke.
Then I discovered the power of emotional clearing. I started using these emotional clearing techniques and my entire life turned around.
I made my darkness visible. I went from burned out and broke to thriving. I wrote four Amazon #1 bestselling books.
I loved it so much I trained myself in these advanced techniques, and I created my program “Ready to Rise” and took my clients through this program.
My clients got such amazing results in their lives, I wrote my fourth and latest book “Making Darkness Visible. Get your shit sorted out and create a life of delicious adventure.”
My book tells the stories of exactly how my clients, and I, got our shit sorted out and how we created lives of delicious adventure.
How we found the strength, power, heart and courage to take their lives to the next level by becoming aware of our unconscious emotions and limiting beliefs.
My clients are travelling the world with infants, running multiple businesses, investing in property and having the delicious adventures that we have been craving for years.
The new world currency is consciousness. You’re either living in alignment with yourself or you're living a lie.
It is time to invest in our emotional wellbeing and clear the unconscious emotions and limiting beliefs that have us trapped in the drama.
It is time to expand our consciousness and make our inner darkness visible.
1. Why this, why now?
Twice I’ve camped in the Kalahari desert close to crocodiles, baboons, hippo and lions. I’ve sailed a 30ft ship in the Cook Strait which has some of the most fearsome wind in the world. I’ve skied down an active volcano and gone canyoning down raging rivers during winter floods. To raise money for charity, I swam naked together with 1000 other people in Sydney harbour. I’ve lived in five different countries and was a solo parent with three boys for five years.
Twice I have hypnotised myself not to feel fear and then jumped out of a plane to experience what it’s like to skydive without fear. And to see, feel and taste the clouds while free-falling at 200km/h towards the earth.
I’ve had many delicious adventures that many other folks would never even think of attempting.
One of the greatest adventures I’ve had was not a physical and scary challenge.
It was becoming an author. I wrote the stories of my grandmother and my family experiencing the crushing circumstances of famine, being a refugee and surviving WWII. And the damage that it did to the mental health of my family and myself.
The results of that damaged mental health in my family was that my childhood adversity was extreme. At home, I was bullied, coerced and emotionally blackmailed from the age of 2½ years old until I left home and it left me so emotionally crippled that I ended up divorced twice.
Once I began my own journey into personal development, I realised I could assist others and coaching others became my main ‘side hustle’ for many years. Then I rediscovered my own love of writing and storytelling. But I couldn’t bring myself to complete and publish my work.
Many people want to write a book and never do. Many write brilliant drafts that are never published because many people fear the consequences of being successful more than they feel the fear of failure. And so it was for me too.
In this book, I share my very own story of emotional clearing - and how I went from burned-out-and-broke to a six figure income with all my debts paid off in eighteen months and publishing three Amazon #1 bestselling books.
But each time I published each of my first three books, due to the brilliant positioning by my published team at www.InspirationalBookWriters.com I created a Amazon #1 bestseller AND at the same time I had a MASSIVE ‘vulnerability hangover.’
So at the same time as working, writing and publishing, I spent three years studying & practising emotional clearing and ‘drinking my own champagne’. Writing and publishing the books, exposing my personal stories for others to read and exposing myself to public criticism and trolling gave me feelings of deep vulnerability, shame and intense fear. I was still in a wounded state - and the books reflected that.
Writing the books was a delicious adventure of stepping into my own darkness.
In doing so I worked though my own ‘messiah/rescuer’ archetype that wants to save everyone. There are SO many ‘trauma-informed’ coaches out there trying to ‘save’ people. It’s kind of like ‘trauma-informed’ is the new ‘gluten-free’. I deeply understand trauma, and how to assist people impacted by it, but it’s not my focus or my intent to ‘save’ these folks driven by my own trauma. And, in ‘drinking my own champagne’ I cleared those primal deep emotions of fear, vulnerability, shame and survivor’s guilt.
I got my sh*t sorted out.
Sorting out my own sh*t has ‘cleared the pipes’ and now what I’m about is creating a community that is self-empowered.
My coaching client’s experience of transformation is so much more powerful than it has ever been before. I had two amazing entrepreneur clients give birth while working with me in 2022 and seeing them transform their relationships with their families and partners as part of the process was incredibly heartwarming.
My writing too shifted focus, from trying to save people, to showing people how to use emotional clearing to create a life of delicious adventures, to create long-lasting wealth investments, to create deep loving connections with themselves, their friends and their families.
I realised that to have life that is full of delicious adventures requires the gifts of strength, courage, power, heart, voice, vision and spirit. Connected to each of these gifts are our shadows that block us from accessing and accepting these gifts. Being intentional about making my own darkness visible using emotional clearing was where I found my gifts, and you can do that too.
So my focus has shifted.
The reason I’ve written this fourth book, and started a community, is to be “the difference that makes a difference” in the lives of a million people to lead lives of delicious adventure through doing their own work on their own emotional wellbeing.
2. Building a community
I want to empower a community of people that take responsibility for their own emotional wellbeing. This is a movement that I want to start for people that are determined to lead and create their own lives, and not be dependent on some ‘saviour’ guru or coach to tell them what to think and do.
Being able to clear the emotions that block us and hold us captive is the light that illuminates the darkness and makes the shadows visible.
Sometimes, it is the smallest adventures that reveal our biggest fears and give us the most life-changing breakthroughs in who we are, how we behave and how we view the world around us.
When we choose to become people who intentionally create our own lives then we get to experience deep fulfilment, to find amazing love and human connection and create the wealth of our dreams and we are truly honouring the privilege that cost the hearts and lives of our ancestors going back generations.
If that is what you’re looking for then this book, and this community, is for you.
Life is too short not to have delicious adventures.
To perform that song, to camp in the Kalahari desert, to write and publish that book or to jump out of that plane with a parachute to see what the clouds taste like.
To choose to live and work in a unique and amazing city such as Singapore that is a vibrant hustling melting pot of Malay, Chinese, Tamil and rapidly-fading colonial cultures.
Getting into the adventures and doing the things that intentionally expose our own vulnerabilities is where we get to find our inner courage, power and voice. The vulnerabilities that expose our darkness: our emotions of guilt, shame, fear and paralysed-will is where we find our inner gold.
Making the darkness visible is the “difference that makes a difference” in our personal growth and leadership.
It inspires and juices up our creativity and it creates a massive foundation of self-respect, and from that we create an extraordinary life.
Can you imagine what the world would look like if we all stepped into the gifts, where we took responsibility for our own emotional well being, became leaders in our own lives, creators of our own delicious adventures and filled compassion for ourselves and others?
Imagine how amazing that could be for your life. For your family. For your community.
Almost all entrepreneurs, and successful business professionals, come from a background of severe childhood adversity that gives them the driving motivation to succeed, but often at a deep personal cost to themselves and their families.
I help entrepreneurs & professionals who are Ready to RISE to transform their darkness, to create delicious adventures and get their sh*t sorted out.
